After Deepika was voted as the sexiest diva by MAXIM, the actress went forward with a bold photo shoot which attracted a lot of controversies. The actress was seen wearing high waist briefs and black lingerie in a series of photos. The actress was trolled and shamed on Instagram for giving a bold photoshoot.
The Instagram page was flooded with controversial and hatred comments on Deepika. Fans started unfollowing the actress on social media for doing a bold photoshoot for a leading magazine. The actress found herself in a soup after people slammed her left and right for the choice of clothes she wore.
Well, now we hear that Padmavati director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also not happy with Deepika’s bold photoshoot. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also not happy with the choice of clothes Deepika Padukone picked up for the photo shoot with leading magazine.
According to the reports published in Deccan Chronicle, “Deepika is essaying the role of a historical character, a Rani (queen) in ‘Padmavati’ and to pose for steamy photo shoots right before the release of the film, is unacceptable to him (Sanjay Leela Bhansali).
The daily further quoted a source saying, “He feels the pictures could rub people the wrong way. After what has happened in the past, he just cannot afford to risk it all for the third time.”
The director is concerned that the film will face controversy in future after this move of Deepika Padukone. Apart from movie, the director is also not happy for wearing such outfits for the shoot.
Earlier, Padmavati had already attracted controversy in Jaipur. People accused the filmmaker of distorting the facts and showing Padmavati in a bad light. Padmavati is the most awaited movies of Bollywood. The movie will star, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. The movie is slated to hit the screens on 17th November 2017.
