Gaurav Arora who rose to fame on the eighth season of MTV Splitsvilla has undergone s*x change operation last year. Now Gaurav Arora is a beautiful woman and is recognized by the name Gauri Arora. She has recently made her first appearance in the third season of Indian’s Next Top Model. Without giving a damn to the society and the haters, she embraced her womanhood through Instagram posts.
While making an appearance in the third season of Indian’s Next Top Model, she has left the judges with tears in the eye. Milind Soman, Malaika Arora, Neeraj Gaba and Dabboo Ratnani were judging the show and after hearing her story, they could do nothing but applaud loud to her courage and determination.
While making her first appearance, here is what Gaurav aka Gauri Arora said,
“Being a woman is a gift and I have gifted myself a vagina.Three years ago I was a male model. I was on a Men’s cover magazine. Then I did a show with MTV as a male model. I had 8 pack abs, 16-inch biceps. I was a fit model… I still feel nervous because I have broad shoulders, broad arms. I am growing into a woman and I am loving it. I am becoming feminine day by day.”
She further said
“There was a lot going inside me since my childhood but I didn’t know whom to speak to. But, my parents have been a constant support. They are God to me. It was my Dad who took me to Bangkok. We went to Thailand. Only my Dad was there with me. It must have been difficult for him too to see his son transforming into a girl. I used to tell my dad that, ‘Papa, it’s really very painful, it’s impossible.’”
Gauri further said that her boyfriend and Dad said her not to wear the bikini on the show but she did not listen to him. Here is what she said in a statement,
“My boyfriend and my Dad have told me not to wear bikini because this is my first show as a woman and they don’t want the world to think that I did all this (transformation) just for this show.”
Talking to Mumbai Mirror, here is what Gauri said,
“I felt extremely beautiful. I was a tad apprehensive about the fact that I had to put on a bikini and walk down the ramp in front of seasoned judges but that only made my resolve stronger. It takes a lot of courage to accept the reality and come out in public. A lot of people out there already know about my struggle. I hope my stint on the show gives courage to a lot of people,”
