For those who aren’t aware let me tell you that Mukesh Ambani’s ‘Antilla’ is the world’s most expensive private residence, worth around Rs. 13,000 crore ($2 billion). The most expensive house of India is located in Malabar Hill in south Mumbai. Build in 2010, the private residence has 600 staff contingent working inside the house. The 27 storey building is described as the “modern home with an Indian heart” by Nita Ambani.
According to the reports a minor fire caught at the mobile tower which was installed on the terrace of Chairman of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani’s south Mumbai residence – Antilia. This incident took place at 9.10 pm and the fire brigade said that the fire has been doused completely and the situation is in control.
Assistant Divisional Fire Officer K.D. Ghadigaonkar said the fire was extinguished by the ‘Antilla’ building staffers with one small line of fixed fire fighting systems and fire extinguishers before the team of fire brigades reached there. “The fire was confined to the 4G antenna, the plastic framing of the vertical garden, etc on the ninth floor,” Ghadigaonkar said in a statement.
When the team arrived, three fire engines, three jumbo water tankers, one turntable ladder and the high-pressure pump was used to distinguish the fire easily. As soon as the Antilia caught fire, the news started circulating on the social media as soon as possible.
Further reports say that when the fire broke inside the house, Ambani’s were not present. In a media statement, the company spokesperson said: “There was a small fire in the garden area of Antillia this evening which was quickly brought under control. No one was injured. The cause of fire is being investigated.”
The situation is in control now and we hope everything comebacks to normal for Ambani’s/
