‘He Raped His Daughter Even When She Was Sick’ This Story Has Left Everyone In Tears

The grand finale of Kaun Banega Crorepati’s season 9 was telecasted on 6th of November, which left everyone in tears. The finale episode of the show witnessed India’s famous children’s rights activist Kailash Satyarthi. Kailash Satyarthi has been associated with social work since 1980 and has played a major role in helping child abuse victims. He is also the founder of Bachpan Bachao Andolan. The crowd applauded him for the efforts and his contribution towards the society.

After working for children’s rights, Satyarthi was honored with the Nobel prize in 2014. One incident which Kailash narrated on the show has left everyone deeply disturbed. Kailash spoke about a young girl who was abused by her father for several years. This girl who was a victim of child abuse used to beg and plead in front of her father but he did not let her go.

Her father refused her pleas but kept doing the same for several years. On one occasion, the girl was seriously sick but it did not affect her father from abusing her physically. She folded her hands and begged in front of her father to spare her from this.  The girl tolerated this abuse for several years until she was liberated by the social workers.

After listening to this rape story, the audience could not help but left appalled at the child abuse cases in the country. Needless to say, everyone was left with tears in their eyes. The host, Amitabh Bachchan further requested the viewers to protect their kids from any child abuse or harassment.
