Akshay Kumar who was recently in news for his upcoming movie, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is upset with the co-producers of the movie. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has been in limelight since the first day of the shoot. The movie created a lot of buzz at the box office and is also promoted by PM, Narendra Modi. The movie was pushed by Narendra Modi who says that this movie should be encouraged as it rightly revolves around Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.
According to the reports, Akshay Kumar is angry with the co producers of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha as he is acknowledged that they aren’t promoting the music well. A source said that all’s not well between the actor and his co-producers Viacom 18, and music label T-series as Akshay believe the music of the movie should be pushed and promoted more actively.
Here is what a close source said about Akshay Kumar’s concern with the producers- “T-series and Viacom 18 seem to be taking things easy because they probably think Akshay’s star power alone can drive the film. Akshay is obviously not happy about this”. Akshay feels that the movie has a strong plot and hence the music of the movie may do quite well at the box office.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha revolves around a story of a newly wedded woman who seeks divorce because there is no toilet facility in the home. The movie will hit the screens one week after Shahrukh Khan’s Harry Met Sejal’s release i.e on 11th August. SRK and Anushka Sharma are leaving no stones unturned to promote their movie while on another hand, Akshay Kumar has a low publicity budget.
