Pakistan censor board has banned the screening of Bollywood movie, Naam Shabana. Naam Shabana is a Hindi feature film which stars Taapsee Pannu and Manoj Bajpayee in lead roles.
The movie was initially released in Pakistan on 31st March but the final screening of the Bollywood movie, Naam Shabana was banned by the Pakistan. Last week the movie was allowed to run in the theaters of Islamabad but was shown without the mandatory cuts. According to to the censor board of Pakistan, due to objectionable content in the movie, it led to the ban of Naam Shabana in Pakistan.
According to the Pakistani’s officials some of the scenes in the movie were not good enough to be shown and hence it urged the officials to ban the movie throughout the country.
Naam Shabana is a Hindi thriller movie of a girl who carries the guilt and dark past on her shoulders to work as a spy for the intelligence agency of the country. The story revolves around an aggressive girl who finds her first major mission in eliminating an international arms dealer.
It is not the first time when Pakistan has banned an Indian movie. Earlier movies like Ek Tha Tiger, Khiladi 786, Agent Vinod and much more were banned in Pakistan.
Well, talking about the reviews of Naam Shabana in India, the movie is doing good! This Spin-off from Baby provides the back-story of intelligence agent Shabana and narratives on how the girl becomes a spy.
Directed by Shivan Nair, this movie is a typical drama movie of a girl who seeks revenge for the murder of the man she loved.
