A pregnant woman from Ohio has created a lot of buzz on the internet for doing a photoshoot with 22,000 bees. You can see the baby bump of a woman covered with live bees while she is laughing. Although this image of the woman might give you goosebumps, it looks like the pregnant woman is quite happy posing with the bees. She is fearless!
On further enquiry, it was known that Emily Mueller is a full-time bee keeper and she decided to showcase her love for bees with this maternity photo shoot. The 33-year-old woman said that she is very much interested in the insect business and hence she wanted to show this talent to the world.
Emily runs Mueller Honey Bee Removal with her husband Ryan and owns 24 hives with 1.2 million bees in total. On the morning of the shoot, Emily had to remove the hives carefully so that she could remove the inserts and allow them to sit on her baby bump calmly.
Daily Mail quoted her as saying, “She also got stung thrice during the shoot but handled it with ease. However, she said she has been stung around 350 times just this year. She also said, “I wore a dress that was long and covered my stomach and legs so the bees would be on the outside of my body as a cautionary measure, but I knew it was safe. The photos were worth it. I love them.”
This photo shoot had also attracted controversy as many of them believe she has risked the life of her baby. What do you think about this story?
