The LG Tone Infinim Bluetooth headset has made the journey over to India where it has been officially launched at Rs 10990 which is a rather steep price. However, the peripheral does offer some pretty great features and it comes with high-quality hardware.
The LG Tone Infinim was originally launched back in May and it has been designed in collaboration with Harman/Kardon. Unlike traditional Bluetoothheadsets, this one features a behind-the-neck design and the ear tips can be extended out of the casing for a comfortable fit. What’s more, the company has implemented a retractable wire management technology to prevent the wires from getting tangled up.
The accessory is basically designed for the G3 flagship smartphone, but it’ll work with almost all Bluetooth devices supporting version 3.0 or higher. There are a couple of features which are exclusive to the said handset. They include Name Alert which basically announces the saved name of the caller, and Answer Me+ that disconnects the headset when you lift the G3 phone for direct use when receiving a call.
The company is touting the Tone Infinim as an ideal choice for fitness enthusiasts as it comes with a dedicated jog button for convenient much playback controls. There’s a dedicated answer key as well, with a microphone for making and receiving calls and a volume rocker.
LG has thrown in a 220mAh battery that’s capable of some pretty good activity time. The company estimates that the device can deliver 17 hours of talk time, 14 hours of music playback or 550 hours of standby. A microUSB port has been provided for charging the power pack.
The LG Tone Infinim will be available in silver only, flaunting a glossy metallic finish.
