After facing backlash from users who had trouble pre-ordering the OnePlus One back in October, the company has decided to make the smartphone available off its invite system for a second time. The second round of bookings will commence on November 17 and like the first time, you’ll only get an hour to reserve a unit.
A blog post on the company’s official website highlights that the pre-order system has been improved and buyers shouldn’t face the same issued again. The procedure for reserving the OnePlusOne is the same as before where you can already add items to your shopping card and simply purchase them on the main day with a single click.
The company notes that if they’ve got inventory, your order will be processed and shipped immediately. And if not, it’ll be queued with the others and you’ll be given an estimated date for shipping. Also, you won’t be charged until the handset leaves the company’s warehouse and cancellations are being accepted.
Additionally, you can still skip the line if you manage to get your hands on an invite. With the new improvement to the pre-order system in place, OnePlus has disclosed that the smartphone’s accessories will be offered with steep discounts.
