Amazon introduced new deals every hour during 7 am-6 pm time slot as the Diwali Dhamaka Week flagged off on Friday morning. The company is offering flat 40% off or more on luggage and bags and 30% off on mobiles, among other deals.
Amazon promised that every day of the week, there will be great deals across hundreds of products from all categories. The company has been introducing new Lighting Deals every hour starting 7 am. In addition, the coming days will also witness launch of new categories, access to exclusive selection and new surprises each day, said the company.

Though all deals are available for a limited time and till stocks last, customers can join the waitlist on deals that are 100% claimed and Amazon.in said it would alert them when that deal becomes available again.
Customers can also enjoy access to some of the sought-after products like the Micromax Canvas A1 with Android One, the Canon Powershot SX520 camera, Blackberry Passport, Hidesign‘s new range for both men and women, Timex Weekender collection of watches, audio products from House of Marley, etc.
The Micromax Canvas A1 smartphone has beaten all the rival brands, even Apple iPhone, in terms of getting buyers preference on Amazon.in. The e-tailer has sold more than 100,000 units of the device since its launch, making it by far the best selling phone on the e-commerce platform.
The rush for the Indian branded phone comes even as Amazon has witnessed a spurt in the sale of old and new models of the popular iPhones. According to the a company statement, iPhone sales have witnessed a five-fold jump so far.
Amazon also introduced Karwa Chauth special for women customers that includes a special ethnic jewellery section as well as a jewellery gift store.

Like previous occasions, Amazon expects consumer electronics (including PCs), books shoes, home and kitchen, baby and health and personal care products to fly of its racks during the sale season.
