Motorola working on 64-bit mid-range smartphone

It seems Motorola is working on a mid-range smartphone running on a 64-bit processor. The Geekbench browser benchmark test has recorded a few details of the smartphone, which may be the third edition of Moto G.

According to the Geekbench data, the upcoming smartphone has a quad-core 1.19GHz Snapdragon MSM8916 processor, commonly known as Snapdragon 410. This chipset supports 64-bit apps, 13MP camera and Full HD screens.

The data also shows that the smartphone will have 1GB RAM (884MB available). The smartphone is running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) in the test, but will likely be upgraded to Android 5.0 (Lollipop) at the time of launch.

The benchmark test does not show any other details, including screen size, camera etc.

Considering that Moto G got an upgrade just a couple of months ago, it is likely that the launch of this smartphone may be some time away.
